Band 8b university jobs: what they pay

How these figures work. They come only from salaries stated in job adverts on UniJobs over the last 12 months, per year, in pounds. "Typical salary" is the middle of the advertised starting points to the middle of the advertised top points. "Middle half" is the range of mid-points that half of the adverts fell within. Pay grades are set by each university, so the same grade can pay differently from place to place, and figures update as new jobs are posted.
