Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a rewarding role that combines hands-on clinical nursing with inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals?

The University of Surrey's School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an enthusiastic RVN to join our Spay & Neuter Clinic at The Mayhew in London. This unique role places you at the heart of veterinary education, supporting fourth-year veterinary students as they develop their practical skills while ensuring exceptional standards of patient care and animal welfare.

About the Role

Working alongside academic, veterinary and technical colleagues, you will support the delivery of our student-led Spay & Neuter Clinic. Students take responsibility for all aspects of patient care, from admission and anaesthesia through to surgery, post-operative monitoring and discharge, while you provide expert nursing support, guidance and supervision throughout the patient journey.

This role offers the chance to make a direct and lasting contribution to veterinary education while maintaining and developing your own clinical expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• University term-time only (approximately 20 weeks per year)
• Generous annual leave entitlement
• The opportunity to help shape the next generation of veterinary professionals
• A supportive and collaborative working environment
