Sign in Create an accountBased at Innovation Campus Stratford Upon Avon, this is a varied role that will enable you to get involved across the trade specialisms in a truly multiskilled role. You'll provide reactive and planned maintenance support to buildings including statutory testing and basic repairs to electrical and mechanical systems and building fabric. The role involves carrying out the important tasks around campus that always need doing (mainly high-volume, repetitive, lower-skilled tasks) which help provide an outstanding customer service experience to everyone who uses our buildings. You'll assist the Maintenance Technicians and specialist trades teams with their work too, so a great opportunity to learn and progress in your trade(s) specialism if you wish. You'll help transport materials and equipment and meet contractors.
About You:
You'll have previous practical experience of building maintenance works in a varied environment and City & Guilds NVQ Level II in a relevant subject.
About the Department:
Our Maintenance Operations Team is changing and growing and we're looking for skilled people like you to help us shape and deliver our new, improved service. You'll be working in a range of buildings and facilities that will challenge your trade skills across ground-breaking research facilities, student accommodation, sports, retail, and entertainment venues. You'll also play a key role in the major events we get involved with.
In Estates, we're always looking for new ways to make things happen, so whatever your trade, this is an exciting time to join us and make an impact. You'll be part of a supportive team who will help you build on your strengths and inspire you to develop your potential.
Benefits:
We will provide you with a great range of benefits, which include an attractive pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance plus Christmas closure, excellent learning and development opportunities, and savings on a wide range of products and services. We offer a generous maternity/paternity/adoption/parental leave policy, and onsite childcare facilities.
We recognise the importance of a healthy work/life balance and offer you access to flexible working. We are proud to say that we are a Living Wage employer.
Warwick is committed to building an organisation of mutual respect and dignity, promoting a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive working and learning environment. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all communities regardless of culture, background, age, disability, sex/gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion/belief, or sexual or romantic orientation.
Please note: this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker visa.
