Are you a proactive HR professional looking to make a real impact? We are seeking a customer-focused Human Resources Advisor to join our team and provide professional HR support across a wide range of people matters.
As a Human Resources Advisor, you will provide high-quality HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people-related matters, delivering expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. You will play a key role in delivering an effective HR service, including sickness absence, probation, flexible working and family leave, driving best practice, and helping to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
We are looking for someone with experience in a generalist HR role, a strong understanding of employment law, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will be organised, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload while delivering a high-quality service. A CIPD qualification, or working towards one, is desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you can make a genuine difference to the employee experience while continuing to develop your HR career.
Benefits:
- Annual incremental increase up to £37,694, with the opportunity to progress to £41,064, subject to performance and the university reward scheme
- Up to 36 days of leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays and University closure days) rising to 41 total days after 5 years' continuous service
- Access to a range of benefits including our Staff Retail Benefits Scheme
- Wellbeing advice and support through our Employee Assistance Programme
- In-house training and development support
- A friendly, inclusive and supportive culture and work environment
Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. If not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Worcester. Appointees will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
