Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic employer and client relationships, and develop a strong pipeline of commercially viable Executive Education activity.
- Work with academic and professional services colleagues to turn employer and market needs into compelling programmes, proposals and partnerships.
- Use market intelligence and commercial insight to identify emerging opportunities.
- Lead multiple Executive Education projects and contribute to longer-term business planning and growth.
- Work closely with colleagues in York to create a joined-up University offer and maximise opportunities across wider Knowledge Exchange activity.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of business development, employer engagement, account management or income-generating activity.
- Experience of developing projects, partnerships or business opportunities from initial concept through to delivery.
- Commercially aware and confident building relationships with external clients and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication and project leadership skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and turn complex customer or market needs into practical, innovative solutions.

Additional Information:
The role may involve occasional evening events and some travel to our York Campus. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship; however, applications are welcome from those who can evidence right to work in the UK via an alternative route. The selection process is anticipated to include an interview and presentation.
