Director of Health and Safety Services

The University of Birmingham is seeking an outstanding senior health and safety leader to provide strategic leadership across health, safety and occupational health.

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, you will lead our Health and Safety Services and Occupational Health teams, shape institutional strategy, strengthen governance and risk management, and drive a positive culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

We're looking for an accomplished leader with significant senior-level experience in a large, complex and highly regulated organisation. You'll combine strategic vision with operational credibility and have the influence to engage confidently with senior leaders, governing bodies and colleagues across the University.
