Clinical Lecturer in Paramedic Practice (NWAS) Secondment or fixed-term post for 2 years

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), in conjunction with the University of Cumbria, are seeking applications for a 2-year fixed term Clinical Lecturer, or this can be a secondment opportunity. The successful post holder will work with the academic team to deliver the University's BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science.

The post will be based in Lancaster; however, there may be a requirement to travel to neighbouring Trusts to support the delivery of the same programme, as well as to the Liverpool delivery site.

The post holder should be an appropriately registered healthcare professional with experience of working within the pre-hospital environment, as well as experience in delivering either ambulance-based pre-hospital education or Higher Education Institution based healthcare education.

Post holders will be supported to complete the first module of the postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching in higher education if this has not been achieved already. In addition, a bespoke induction programme will be available for new starters to engage with to support their transition into Higher Education.
