Are you passionate about climbing and developing others? We're looking for a Climbing Development Instructor to help support the safe, compliant and effective operation of NTU Climbing.

In this role, you will work closely with student leaders and club members to develop skills, confidence and safe working practices. You'll play a key role in delivering technical training, supporting committee development, and helping students progress within the sport.

You will also lead on essential safety and operational activities, including equipment inspections, climbing wall compliance and maintenance checks, route setting, competency assessments and maintaining accurate inspection records. Working with NTU Sport colleagues, you'll provide technical advice and help ensure the climbing wall and associated club activities operate safely and effectively.

This is a varied role that combines hands-on climbing instruction, route setting, equipment management, compliance activities and student development. You'll have the opportunity to influence the experience of hundreds of student climbers while supporting the long-term sustainability of the club and climbing wall.

We're looking for someone with strong climbing knowledge, experience of route setting and equipment inspection, and a passion for developing others. If you're excited by the opportunity to combine technical expertise with student development, we'd love to hear from you.
