Assessor - Early Years - 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year to cover term times

Our Early Years team, based at Hayes Campus, offers high quality provision and up-to-date expertise with a strong focus on student achievement and excellent links with local employers, for both full time and work-based learning. We deliver NCFE CACHE Early Years qualifications at Levels 1 and 2 and T Levels Early Years Educator, including the Assisted Teaching Pathway.

In this post, you would assess learners including Apprentices to determine their occupational competencies, both within the workplace and college environment. You would also carry out progress reviews, ensure learners' progress and achievement is tracked effectively, and actively develop links with employers to increase opportunities for learners' placements. The role will involve travelling to employers' premises in West London and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking someone with the following:

- Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/VRQ qualification in Early Years/Teaching Assistant (preferably a degree in the relevant subject)
- Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent)
- Assessing experience in Early Years
- Recent experience of working in Early Years, both Education and Care
- Good organisational, IT and administrative skills
- Driving licence and own personal transport
